Founded in 1998, Guangxi Yangxiang Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in pig industry, with more than 250,000 sows and 5,000 boars in stock at present, and owns two plates of self-raising pigs and service pig breeding. As a whole industry chain technology-based agricultural and animal husbandry enterprise integrating "breeding pig, semen, hogs, pig feed, intelligent pig equipment", the Company is specialized in building a comprehensive model of "gene+product+service+internet".

  • Project Background

    Adhering to the concept of "science and technology transform the pig raising industry", Yangxiang Group has been exploring scientific pig raising methods since 2009, and has discovered five key elements for raising pigs at low cost: genetic inheritance, precise nutrition, environmental control, production management and biosafety.


     In 2019, Yangxiang had an average PSY of 28.7, MSY of 27.5, a full survival rate of 92%, and a hog farrowing cost of 5.31 yuan/catty, leading the domestic low-cost pig raising. However, compared with the average cost price of 3.5 yuan/catty in developed countries in Europe and America, there is still room for improvement in the cost of raising pigs in China. How to do it?

  • Business Architecture

    Since 2018, Yangxiang Group has partnered with Yingzi Technology to combine industrial internet technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things and other industrial internet technologies with the traditional pig raising business to co-create the Future Pig Farm (FPF) intelligent pig raising solution.
     After nearly two years of R&D investment and pig farm trials, FPF has now been successfully landed and applied in Yangxiang building pig farms, serving more than 100,000 sows and realizing more than 20 business closed loops of sow production management. It empowers pig farms with the capabilities of precise nutrition, intelligent estrus checking and individual management, achieving remarkable results in cost reduction and efficiency increase, and providing a benchmark example for the digitalization and Internet-based transformation and upgrading of China's pig farming industry.
     Composed of a series of software and hardware products, FPF is based on the support of the middle platform architecture and runs through the whole process of sow production management business. In May 2019, Yingzi Technology FPF software and hardware products were successively on-line verified in Yangxiang building pig farms. In November 2019, CCTV's "Live News" reported on the intelligent pig farms in the building, where the FPF intelligent equipment installed and deployed in each pen was highly noticed. In April 2020, the new feeding programme was released on FPF software, which is now stably applied in the building pig farm.


  • Application Effect

    FPF Precision Feeder supports timed and quantitative automatic feeding, and FPF Multi Milk Bao supports free feeding and drinking water monitoring for sows, both of which support manual remote operation of app feeding to maximize the individual nutritional needs of sows. They save 1 hour per person per day of feeding labor time in pig farms, with only 5 people currently needed to manage 1,000 sows in building farms, increasing the labor efficiency of pig farms by 10 times; meanwhile, through precise feeding, FPF feeding equipment reduces the error of single feeding amount to 20g, greatly improving the feed utilization rate and reducing the wastage, thus lowering the breeding cost.
     The FPF Oestrus Checker can monitor the estrus condition of sows round-the-clock, judge and remind the best time for mating in time, which reduces the manual omission and mismatch, and improves the conception rate of sows by 5%-10%.
